Vintage Buddy Tubinaghtewa hand carved wooden art piece. Native American art. This piece is a part of my own collection that I have had for over 25 years.
Buddy Tubinaghtewa is a contemporary Hopi artist known for his paintings and carvings, particularly in wood. He grew up on the Hopi reservation and learned from observing his father and grandfather carve. His work has been displayed in various museums and galleries throughout Arizona, including the Museum of Northern Arizona, Arizona State Museum, and Sharlott Hall Museum. Tubinaghtewa has received awards for both his carvings and paintings.
This is a beautiful piece of original work of art that is a great conversation piece. Would make a valuable addition to any collection. This carved sculpture is glued on to a beautiful piece of matching wood.
